THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS
Edward O’Neil, PhD A b s t r a c t The health care system is rapidly moving toward a market-driven and integrated set of arrangements. In order to be successful in this new competitive world, health organizations and their leaders need to possess a set of core competencies. Programs addressing these core competencies should be developed by continuing medical education (CME) programs.
